Stargram Docs
How fees move, who gets what, and why every rail is real.
Overview
Stargram launches tokens on pump.fun with a Telegram @handle written into the token's metadata at mint time. The attribution is permanent — it cannot be edited, redirected, or revoked. As the token trades, pump.fun pays creator fees; Stargram claims them on a schedule and delivers the creator's share as Telegram Stars. The recipient needs no wallet, no login, and never has to know about crypto to receive value.
Fee split — 80 / 20
Every dollar of claimed creator fees is split the moment it's swept:
claimed creator fees (SOL, valued in USD)
├── 80% → creator's Star balance
│ accrues per handle, pays out via Fragment
│ at the 50-Star minimum (~$0.75 per clip)
└── 20% → $STARGRAM buyback pool
market-buys $STARGRAM on pump.fun once
the pool reaches $5Buybacks executed to date: $6 · $2.4 pooled, pending execution
$STARGRAM buybacks
20% of all protocol fee flow buys $STARGRAM on the open market via the same PumpPortal rail used for everything else (action: buy, pool: auto — works on the bonding curve and on PumpSwap after graduation). Buybacks are batched at a $5 minimum so gas never eats the flow. Every buyback is recorded with its transaction signature, so the flow is fully auditable on-chain: more tokens launched → more trading → more fees → more Stars for creators and more $STARGRAM bought.
Launching
The launch form queues a mint. The engine uploads the token image + metadata (including the Telegram attribution) to pump.fun's IPFS, asks PumpPortal to build the mint transaction, signs it locally, and submits it. Private keys never touch the browser or any third-party server. The handle is validated against t.me before minting — launches pointed at nonexistent usernames are rejected.
Getting paid (creators)
You don't do anything. Stars arrive from Fragment — Telegram's official marketplace — addressed to your username. Stars fund Telegram's creator monetization: they convert to rewards and TON withdrawals through Telegram itself. If someone launched a token pointing at you, your accrued balance and full gift history are on your /u/yourhandle page.
